- Device and app metadata (model, OS, app version)

2.3 Camera, Photos, and Notifications
We request access to your device's camera for:
- Scanning QR codes for asset and vehicle management
- Taking vehicle inspection photos (6 photos per inspection)
- QR code scanning is only used when you actively choose to scan
- Vehicle inspection photos are stored securely in our cloud system
- Push notification tokens to deliver operational alerts (for example, defect notifications)
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Core Platform Services
We use Firebase for:
- Authentication: Managing user accounts and secure sign-in
- Firestore: Storing and managing asset inventory, vehicle fleet data, user profiles, and company data
- All data is stored securely on Google Cloud Infrastructure
3.2 Billing, Email, and Notifications
We use third-party providers to operate billing and communications:
- Stripe for subscription checkout, billing portal, payment processing, and webhook events
- SMTP/email provider for invite and service emails
- Notification services for push alerts and scheduled compliance reminders

8. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Asset, vehicle, and inspection data is retained per company requirements
- Inactive accounts (no login activity for 90 consecutive days) will be automatically deleted along with all associated data
- You can delete your account and data at any time using the in-app account deletion feature
9. How to Delete Your Account and Data
You have full control over your data and can delete your account at any time directly from the app:
Account Deletion Steps:
- 1.Open the StockTrackPro app and navigate to the Account Tab
- 2.Tap on "Manage Account"
- 3.When the alert appears asking "Choose an action", tap "Delete Account"
- 4.Confirm your decision by tapping "Delete" in the confirmation alert
- 5.Your account profile and access credentials are permanently deleted
What Gets Deleted:
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile and account information
- Your user profile and user-level settings
- Data you created where deletion rights apply under your company role and applicable law
- Records retained where required for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, or dispute handling
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you export any data you wish to keep before deleting your account. Subscription cancellations are managed in your Stripe billing portal.
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for and does not target children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
11. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email.
